Our honest and friendly staff can diagnose most audio equipment
repairs on site. We can also help you decide (if the problem
is going to cost you more to repair) what your best options
are. ODP are also Audio/Video dealers for all Bose Professional
Sound System equipment, Crown Audio (Amplifiers), Shure (Microphones),
Aviom (Personal Monitor Systems) Soundcraft (Mixing consoles),
Knox Video and FSR (Video/projection), and Da-lite Video Screens.
If we see a problem that might pose a safety issue, we will
let you know. Occasionally, ODP gets called out to diagnose
a repair and discovers a problem with the way a previous company
has hung the A/V equipment. We have seen speakers and video
screens hung inappropriately. One time, an Overdrive Productions
Audio Engineer let a Funeral Home Director know that his Chapel
was in jeopardy of collapsing! The Overdrive Engineer suggested
he call a structural engineer immediately. The Funeral Home
incident fortunately is not a common problem, but we will let
you know if we notice any safety issues! If you suspect you
may have a safety issue regarding your Audio or Video Equipment,
call us (and for a charge), we can look over your current Sound
System.
